lets chat hair stuff..
ok.. well im not too sure what my plan with these blogs are, but im just going with it. i guess lets start with hair stuff. i envision this with more then hair/beauty chat because as clients know, when you sit in my chair we really get to know each other not just talk about hair. for example many know my love for true crime. like sit in my chair, i will keep you up to date with all things murder. and i am not ashamed. also please don’t judge my punctuation. ok anyways, hair stuff..
i have been doing hair for years and i am going to be very honest with you.. i have only been good about a really good hair/skin regimen for like 5 years. i am so embarrassed about this but i guess i am finally an adult ha. this is a sign that its never too late start the perfect regimen for you. after all it is self care and thats so important.
this doesn’t have to be a 10 step process but think of it as skin care which as we age we all want to start smothering ourselves in anti-aging creams. that is me, i do that. but not the point, lets start with the basics, lets cleanse the hair. i personally love Dallas by R+co, very light in the hair, adds biotin and tons of volume. then lets add the moisture, i love televsion perfect hair conditioner for myself, its rich but not heavy and adds shine. next after we are out of the shower, cleansed and moisturized, lets add the sunscreen for our hair, some heat protectant, pinstripe is my go-to and maybe a little suncatcher. (can you tell im R+co obsessed?) those steps help keep your hair healthy and some thing comparable to this is great MAINTENANCE at home. of course after i style i usually use balloon dry texture spray that i literally go through bottles of its my favorite product ever. spray that bad boy at your roots, mids, ends and you have your self some dolly hair. you know the famous quote, “higher the hair closer to heaven.” then a drop of two-way mirror to add some shine.and there is my perfect combo. *chefs kiss*
i hope that doesn’t seem like a lot thats 4-5 products that really you don’t need much of and the difference you will see is undeniable. and if you’re like me its only a once a week routine :)
